Touch version of pptPlex
When we wanted to try out the new multi-touch capabilities of Windows 7, pptPlex seemed like a good application in which to do some experimentation.  We liked the touch interaction and thought we would share this updated version of pptPlex with anybody out there who has a multi-touch enabled device running Windows 7. Take a look at this video and keep reading if you are interested in getting access to this version of pptPlex.

If you have a multi-touch enabled device and Windows 7, you may want to download this version of pptPlex.  Otherwise, we recommend using the original version published on the pptPlex page.  Here are the gestures enabled in the multi-touch release of pptPlex:
·         Touch to zoom in
·         Two finger tap to zoom out
·         Swipe left/right and flick to move to the next/previous slide.
·         Pinch and pan works as expected.

Click here to download the multi-touch enabled version of pptPlex.

We hope you enjoy this release.

.Net 3.0 required on Windows 7

I'm trying to install the Windows 7 version of pptPlex but when I run the install it says I need to install .Net 3.0. I checked to verify that 3.5 is turned on and it is. What am I missing?

pptPlex development

Looks really neat! Wish pptPlex was built-into or at least available as an official add-in for PPT 2010. Just snagged the beta a couple of weeks ago and was hoping for a pptPlex integration, but besides some more fancy animations there is nothing like pptPlex.

pptPlex seems like a really good addition to the Powerpoint main program line - especially with examples like this one, multitouch and Windows 7.

Way to step on the Office program managers feet ;-)

Compatibility with Office 2010?

I tried to install this PPTPlex on my Windows 7 x64 with Office 2010 Beta. It asked me to install Microsoft Office Primary Interop Assemblies. Even after installing them, PPTPlex setup asks me to install them. Is there a workaround or fix for this? I really want to try out PPTPlex with multitouch on my TouchSmart notebook.

Re: Touch version of pptPlex

Interesting. It works pretty well, would need to practice.

One thing I really like about presenting on a tablet is having access to a pen which I can use to highlight/draw up my slides. This function is not available here. It would be awesome if the two could be consolidated. Pan/zoom using fingers, and write using the pen.
